Keeping Up with Technology

The popularity of mobile devices is expanding at an astonishing rate, topping 80% in 2016. Even more crucially, average mobile device conversion rates for e-commerce are up 64% when compared to average desktop conversion rates. The need of customising marketing efforts to be mobile-friendly cannot be emphasized in today's digital and linked environment.

First, a mobile website consists of a browser-based service that grants access to mobile devices this are phones, tablets, wearables, or any other wireless device; having a mobile-friendly website will help you grow your business and improve your market share because more people are going to have access to your site and will feel comfortable using your services online on their wireless devices. (Grguric, 2022)

A study done by the wilderness agency shows that 43% of users will not return to a website with a slow loading time, and about 40% of people said they would leave a website if it took more than 3 seconds to load. (Moody, 2021)

Mobile Apps are one of the strongest ways to make marketing, a report done shows that mobile users spend 4 hours a day on their phones and 90% of that time is on apps (Wurmser, 2020). The most common ways to promote your business on mobile apps is by showing your ads on trending applications this can be TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, among others this will boost the number of customers you can reach. Another way to promote your business will be creating your app for your business which will offer different opportunities for the consumers to interact with your business.

Games are huge in the app world. Research shows that 35% of the time spent on phones are on games, and with tablets the percentage sky rockets to 57% of the time (Council, 2020 ). This is where in-game ads for business can be a great lead generation for businesses! The key is to have a captive and fresh ad so people can respond positively (Grguric, 2022)

Marketing is changing at a quick speed. Many trends have evolved in the last year, including more social discussions, emotive storytelling, live-streaming videos, customer evaluations, chatbot proliferation, corporate intelligence, and a focus on customer support. (Grguric, 2022) However, the transformation is far from complete. Newer technologies, such as the increasing practical efficacy of virtual reality, are already shaping social media marketing. (Marketing, 2021)

The evolution of mobile marketing via social media has helped increase social conversation, the engagement of telling visual stories, all the media is now based on videos. Most websites have Chatbots that help companies get more customers which has enhanced the customer service experience benefiting all the users.

SMS marketing is a strong one-to-one message technique built for personal, direct connection with high engagement rates. SMS marketing originally appeared in the early 2000s and, following years of development, has become even more important as a result of the pandemic's increase in digital transformation. In today's digital-first world, it's become a go-to for companies trying to stay connected with customers. SMS is the standard digital communications channel over email in many worldwide areas where customers rely more on their phones than computers. (Braze, 2020)
